Prayer changes things!

This is my mother in law. With my father in law and my daughter. About 8 years ago she had went to the dr to get glasses and had a very thourough eye exam and during the exam her eye dr found something on her optic nerve. He sent her to a neuro surgeon to find out what it was. They told her it was a tumor. It was not cancer but unless it came off she would have irreversable vision loss so away they went to have it removed. They decided to have the surgery done without going through her head. So they went up through her mouth, broke and moved her nose, and progressed through to her brain that way. Yes it was as horrible for as it sounds and she was in a lot of pain for a long time but most of the tumor was gone. Since, she has to follow up every 6 months with mri to be certian it did not come back.
Almost 6 months ago she went back for her regular mri and it was back! They decided to check every 3 months to see how fas it was growing. They decided that it needed to come off again but now they have what is called a "cyber-knife". So they started getiing prepaired to do this treatment. Now they have gotten all the work done to start treatment on her. She is clostrfobic ( I cannot spell so just sound it out! lol)really bad and they have to comver your face and basicly hold ya down for almost and hour for each treatment. SO naturally she is scared to death. We want all the prayers for her we can get so feel free to help us out with that.
She went today for her first of 5 treatments and she did ok but she is still not compfortable with this and probably will not ever be but she did ok. I will try to keep you posted on how she does all week. They have to do 5 treatments and she has finished only one.
Pray for her and her family as she is hoping the "CK" will get all of it so they wont have to do the horrible surgery again. Prayer really does change things. Maybe GOd didnt want it to be so bad He just want us to ask for courage sometimes!
