What I have been up to lately!

Well for starters, I have been overly consumed with life. I do not fuss at this kind of stuff because I need to keep my mind busy. I do have many things to seek God for comfort in but still no fussing. I dont like all the circumstances that surround me right now but I am grateful for the knowledge to thank God anyways for wisdom to learn and teach through the trials. My cousin is in UT Hospital for just having had open heart surgery for a bad valve in his heart. The things that make this more challenging is that he is only 36 and he has a 4 week old son that he is not allowed to pick up for likely 2 months. That has to hurt him way more than the surgery. However, in the midst of his pain, they offered to wait for a while to do the surgery but because of job insecurity he opted to have it done now. They came to him yesterday and told him that in his (DR) 20+ years of heart surgery, they had never seen a vlave so useless. Isnt God good and his timeing is "perfect".
I also have been looking in to a friends neice. She was born on Thursday then on Sat she was airlifted to a heart hospital and 1 day later her parents learned she would not survive without surgery and possibley not even with surgery. She did do ok with surgery but has come to some more bumps in her road. I pray her family will seek comfort the way I have and keep themselves strong for their little girl. I ask that you all say a prayer for this little angel. I believe God has a plan for her and again, his timeing is perfect.
I have been absolutely consumed by READING! I never was a big fan but now I am so consumed. I have read some really great books in the last few weeks and I feel like I will never stop reading books like this. Thanks a whole bunch to my friend Kathy who has given me some titles to check out. I am truly in love with the stories. Thanks Kathy
I will try to get back on soon and update you on my cousin and my friends neice if I can pull my head out of these books again soon. lol
